Milling starts with the cleaning of rice. This is a multi-step process where foreign material like straws, mud balls, threads, stones, paddy and metal particles are removed from the rice. PBRM specializes in milling both Basmati and Non-Basmati varieties. Our IRRI-6 varieties are also branded therefore requires careful precision of quality control. PBRM creates both Double polished and Silky polished IRRI-6 and IRRI-9 rice. Performance pre-cleaners and classifiers are used to achieve great accuracy in feeding purified rice to the later processes. Apart from the cleaning process itself, it is ensured that none of such impurities are added into rice during subsequent processes. All the machines, conveyers, bins and hoppers are equipped with a generously sized aspiration system; keeping the entire building dust-free.

These weighbridges are located at the gates of the Mills enable all loading and off-loading both public and private to be weighed and recorder therefore eliminating any weight in-efficiencies
